Christmas Giving Day
I’m Emma and I’m happy to be here with you at EYFSHome.
Christmas is a time of giving and receiving. A time of sharing with others and spreading joy. Today’s activities are all about giving. We will be making some lovely gifts for those very special people in our lives.

Christmas Photo
Christmas is the perfect time to take some lovely photos for our friends and family.
Let’s see if we can create an awesome festive picture, using lots of fun props and Christmas clothes. This supports children’s creativity and understanding of customs at Christmas time.
Make a Festive Picture Frame
For our last activity of the day we are going to design a picture frame for our Christmas photo.
There are lots of ways you can make a frame for your photo. It’s really up to you to make it as fabulously festive as you can. You will need: card, scissors, paint and different coloured pens and pencils. Adding Christmas stickers will make your frame look really Christmassy.
This supports children’s expressive arts and design. It also supports their independence to come up with their own ideas for gifts. Giving at Christmas time shares with children the happiness it brings to the person receiving the gift, and also to the person who gives the gift.
