Pumpkin Day
My name is Sarah and I am a children’s author. I am so excited to share this day with you all. We are going to start the day by making some salt-dough decorations. Next, we will be making some delicious pumpkin face fairy cakes. Then we will be carving our pumpkin and getting creative with some face painting too. We will be finishing the day with my brand new Halloween story ‘The Witches Brew’.
Halloween Decorations
Let’s get messy in the kitchen to make some decorations for our Halloween celebrations.

Pumpkin Carving
Join Sarah and Eva for some Halloween fun and pumpkin carving!
This activity is a great opportunity to talk to your child about all this seasons traditions. Cutting with knives and tools helps children to develop their fine motor skills and teaches them about how to be safe and careful with new tools. It is a such a fun activity and the finished pumpkin always lights up a dark room at this time of year making it really feel like Halloween.
Face Painting
Join Sarah for some fun face painting. I wonder what Halloween character Sarah will decide to be? What is your favourite Halloween character to dress up as?
Talk to your child about Halloween and all the characters associated with this time of year. Witches, wizards, cats, spiders, vampires, ghosts, goblins and many more. If you have face paints you can paint each other’s faces. You can choose to just dress up as your favourite Halloween character too.
