Sir Lambalot
Hello children I'm Jude an author and storyteller. Here are my storytelling mascots Lamby and Flossie. Today we are very excited as we are sharing our brand new book 'Sir Lambalot' with you. We'll be reading the story then doing some follow up activities with Sir Lambalot and Queen Floss.

In the story, Queen Floss has a coat of arms. We're going to make our own coat of arms.

Funky Wellies
We're going to design our own funky wellies just like the troll in the story. What will you put on yours?
Draw some welly outlines or download the welly template. Encourage your child to design their own funky wellies. Why not do a pair of your own. Use vocabulary such as wellies, design, colour, pattern, make, decorate.
Develops - Communication and Language, Physical and Expressive Art and Design skills.
Dragon Wings
In the story, Queen Floss is taken for a ride on the dragon's wings. Where would you go if you could ride on a dragon?
Encourage your child to think about and discuss where they would like to go if they went for a ride on a dragon's wings. Share your ideas about places to visit. Ask your child to draw the place or places they'd like to go. If they wish to mark make or write encourage them to do so. Use language such as - dragon, wings, fly, explore, journey, adventure, far away, place names, geographical feature names. Develops - Communication & Language, Expressive Arts and Design and Understanding the World skills.
