Sarah Pretty

Sarah began her career in sales and events five years ago after graduating from Loughborough University. During her studies she set up a theatre company in association with the English and Drama department. Its performances supported the student curriculum and built relations with the local council as part of a scheme to reinvigorate the arts. Her professional journey began in hotels and inspired her move up north where she completed a graduate management scheme in general hotel operations. Throughout the training Sarah acted as a mentor, brand guru and chair of the charity committee. She organised fundraising events and conducted training for new starters in York as well as the reservations team in London. Following this, Sarah’s career evolved into Sales, Marketing and Business Development. Her experience covers a variety of sectors including hospitality, events, restaurants, bars and manufacturing driving revenue for large corporations and local independent brands.
