Plants, Trees and Flowers Day
My name is Rachel from Music Minors. Today we will be learning all about plants, trees and flowers. Come and join Tallulah and I for a day filled with fun activities!
You will need:
Pictures of plants trees and flowers
Paints or colours
In this activity you can choose any of the pictures to paint or colour in. Choose your favourite colours for the pictures and have lots of fun being creative together!
Use the pictures of the plants, trees and flowers to make a game and find the matching pictures.
A great way to use their memory skills and identify the different pictures.
Sing a Song of Flowers
Learn the colours of the flowers whilst singing the song.
Sing a song of flowers, flowers all around.
Flowers that are growing, growing in the ground.
Look at all the colours they look so pretty, to.
Red, Pink, Orange, Yellow, Blue and Purple too.

Follow Rachel and Tallulah and see what colour comes next when they hold up the flowers.
This develops children’s memory skills and supports the expressive arts and design.
Using any seed mixes and have a go at planting some seeds with the children.
Use some compost and follow Rachel and Tallulah’s instructions. It’s a great way to get messy and watch the seeds grow. This develops children’s knowledge and understanding of planting and growing.
