My name is Sarah and I am a children’s author. Today we are going to be celebrating New Year’s Eve.

First we are going to make some New Year’s Eve props to take some fun family photos to remember the last day of 2020. Next we will be making a firework picture and thinking about the noises and colours we will see in the sky tonight when the clock strikes twelve. Then we will be playing a fun family game called ‘Best Bits of 2020.’ Next, we will be making our wishes for the New Year! Finally snuggle down for my bedtime story called, ‘Isacc’s Gift.’

It’s 'Monstrous Me' day, and we’re going to have a roaring time discovering the little monster inside us. We will be mixing monster colours and making monster crafts, and at the end of the day, we’ll ask ourselves a question:

Who is the Monster in your house?

Your gran? sister? dog? Or you, perhaps?

Put your claws in the air, it’s another Monster day at EYFS.

You will be:

• Mixing Monster Paints

• Building scary Tube Monsters out of old toilet rolls.

• Making Monster Flipsticks. Are they human or a monster?

• Singing a very monstrous song

• Having a story with mummy monster (She’s very grumpy today)

Sue Bordley

My name is Sue Bordley and I am an author. Today’s theme is swimming and water safety.

We will be reading ‘Have Fun, Be Safe’, the book I wrote with RLSS-qualified lifeguard and swimming teacher, Jonathan Gerrard. We’ll also be doing some creative activities that are linked with the story.

Hello, my name is Emma and I am a teacher and an artist. Today our activities will be based on the Winter Solstice; the shortest day of the year. My Name is A V Turner. I am a writer and an actor. I write books about a little hedgehog called Harris.

Today we are going to be doing some fun activities. First, we will be listening to a chapter from my special Christmas story about Harris. Next, we will be doing some yoga, litter picking and some running. We will also be finding out about how to look after hedgehogs.
