Vehicles Day

Becky is a singer and dancer from Scotland. Today she is here with her happy helpers, Nicole & Olivia. We are getting creative, having fun and learning all about different vehicles. There will also be some singing and dancing too. Becky is so excited to spend the day learning with you all and hopes you are ready for a fun filled Vehicles Day.

9.30am Activity:
Learning About Vehicles

Becky is so excited to sit down with the children and name all the different types of vehicles. Becky uses pictures to help identify them. Her happy helpers Nicole and Olivia are also joining Becky for some singing to ‘The Wheels On The Bus.’ We have a fabulous colouring sheet for children to print out too.

Grown Ups:

This activity develops children’s language and communication. It also supports their knowledge and understanding linked to vehicles.

10.30am Activity:
Make A Road Crossing

Becky shows us how to make our very own road crossing to play with and learn about road safety at the same time.

Grown Ups:

This supports children’s creativity, imaginative play and also develops language and communication.

1:30pm Activity:
Role Play

We will be using our road activity for some role play. Let’s get our imaginations working and have some fun!

Grown Ups:

This supports children’s imaginative play and communication and language.

2:30pm Activity:
Junk Model

Becky is so excited to get creative and shows us how to make our very own junk model vehicle. By using old boxes, we can turn something old and used into something new and fun!

Grown Ups:

This activity develops children’s creativity and imaginative play. It also develops their communication and language.
