My girls and I love this time of year and get so excited as we look and listen for fireworks in the night sky. We will be creating our own firework actions today and being creative with paint and food as we celebrate this special time of year.

Today is a fun packed day of activities about campfires. We will be getting outside to collect sticks and fiery leaves to make our own campfire. We will also be drawing using real charcoal!

My name is Sarah and I am an animal lady.

Before I became an animal lady, I worked as a zoo keeper and learnt lots of information about big animals, when I left the zoo I worked for the RSPCA and helped sick and injured animals to get better and then could release them back to their owners or back to the wild.

AnimalTastic is 9 years old and I love my job. I visit schools, nurseries and care homes teaching people about animals.

Today we will see and learn about some animals that go to sleep when the winter months come.

Today I will be sharing my story ‘Jack and the Genie.’ Imagine meeting your very own Genie, I wonder what you would wish for? We are going to be making our own Jack and the Genie characters and re-telling the story. We will be making and decorating our very own treasure chests and Genie lamp. We will also be making our own dream life pictures too.

My name is Sarah and I am a children’s author. Today I am excited to share my day all about poetry. We will start the day with an autumn leaf action and sound poem. Then we are going to write an acrostic poem and decorate around it with some beautiful leaf prints. I will be sharing a lovely way you can help your child to make up their own hedgehog poem and then we will be making our very own alphabet poem too. We will finish the day with our guest poet Raoul Dero, known as ‘The Universal Poet,’ who will be sharing four of his lovely poems, written especially for EYFS Home.

Today it's Bring Your Teddy to Work Day. Lamby has brought his teddy Red Ted along for the day. Have you got a teddy to bring along for the day? We're going to have lots of fun singing a song, having a Teddy Bear's Picnic and doing some Teddy Bear maths.

My name is Rachel and I run my own music business called Music Minors. Today we are going to have so much Autumn fun with music. First we are going to learn an Autumn song all about leaves. We are going to learn an action song about a farmer. Then we are going to learn another song that is really fun at this time of year all about pumpkins. In our final activity we are going to make some pumpkin tambourines.

My name is Paula Fletcher and I am a children’s author.  I’ve written a book called Doughnut’s Adventures. It’s about a little penguin who feels different to the rest of the penguins.

We are going to do lots of fun activities today:

Today, we will be looking at ’recycling’ where we’ll be doing some sorting, junk modelling and learning about recycling and re-using things in different ways.

Do you ever look up at the sky at night? There are lots of stars and planets and of course the moon. Today we're going to go on a space journey, make something from a cardboard box and use some lovely space material for something fun.

Join Lois and Freya for a fun day with photos! All of the activities today involve taking photos of different items and taking part in various challenges. If you can, ask an adult to borrow their phone or camera and they can help you take some photos. If you don’t have anything to take photo with don’t worry, you can make a pretend one with cardboard and it will be just as fun!

Good morning fashionistas! My name is Donna and I'm a teacher, storyteller and author. This week we’re thinking about animals! Have you ever wondered what outfits your favourite animals would wear?

Today we will be dressing up and getting our grown-ups to guess who we are. Next we will be dressing up our toys for an animal catwalk. After all the dressing up fun, we will be drawing our animals and making up our own animal poems!
